The final stage in the editing process is proofreading. In making sure your book is ready for the presses, the proofreader double-check your manuscript.

A proofreader works on the entire book, not just the body of the book. They cross-check chapters, the dedication page, the acknowledgements, and wherever text appears.

Proofreaders and other editors

Proofreaders function differently for the other editors. They polish and tweak but will not change your content. They do not provide you with an in-depth feedback about your book.

We can discuss your options and what you need. Feel free to contact us via SMS or email.
